- Getting around these people allows you to tap into their mindset and become someone amazing by association.
- One of the most powerful things you can do is to associate with influencers.
- Give us any tips for getting out of a conversation with someone who is sucking value from you.
- If it’s someone who has a poverty mindset, who’s negative or a leach – just be honest, “I’ve enjoyed this conversation, I wish you the best, I gotta go.”
- You’ve got to care about people, but you’ve got to guard your time.
- You need to guard your energy.
- You need to evaluate if it’s a good person who’s never had a mentor or if there’s something more insidious going on.

- Approach with confidence and an authentic nature.
- Successful people can read people.
- Never apologize for approaching them, it’s a sign of poverty thinking.
- Let your compliments be unique, ask a question that shows interest.
- Keep it brief and story based and get them talking.
- Confidence, respect, hunger.

- Have respect, don’t try to act like you’re better than them.
