- Everyone struggles in the beginning.

- A lot of his opportunities have been given to him because he’s an expert.

- How do you put your name in with the experts?
- There’s an inner world and an outer world.
- Your confidence has to be rock-solid and world class.
- Because Bryan displayed confidence, he was labeled as a little too much.

- You have to be able to back up the confidence with the ability to deliver.
- How do you have confidence without cockiness?
- Society has exaggerated the whole arrogance thing.
- If you can demonstrate, it’s not arrogant.
- Accept that you’re not where you want to be and strive to get where you want to go.
- Arrogance is reaching, you’re going out of your way to seek validation.
- Just know inside that you are that good, you don’t have to tell anybody, you can show them.
- How has building relationships with people, whether client or mentor, accelerated your career?
- We tend to want to work with people within our social circle.
- Tell us a story about how a connection led to a big moment of success.
- Sold a property in a very affluent neighborhood for a lawyer.
- Met the lawyer at Toastmasters.
- He decided to go to places that were purposeful.
- Because they met at the same place, the relationship was a lot easier.
- Within 3-4 weeks they had exchanged numbers.
- Has sold two houses for this lawyer and gotten multiple referrals.
- Is there somewhere that you go when you’re wanting to expand your network?
- Yes, exotic car shows.
- He’s sold four houses in the last year for people he’s met at these shows.
- He’s made a lot of great relationships meeting at mutual events.
- Don’t look at networking as work, go to places you actually have interest in.
- How did you end up speaking with Josh Altman?
- He went to an event and met Josh Altman.
- A few years later, a mutual friend bumped into him and asked Bryan to speak on the same stage as Josh.
- He’s constantly forcing himself to get better at public speaking.
- It’s so important to continuously focus on improving certain skills.
- You need to reverse engineer what you want your life to look like in a few years and outline steps to get there.
- Throughout your career, how crucial have mentorships and masterminds been for you?
- Very essential, one of the most important things.
- He’s constantly in communication with his mentors.
- He created a real-estate mastermind.
- It’s a constant refinement, you can achieve more together.
- Do you have any tips on how to handle rejection?
- The fact that you’re being rejected, you yourself have that power.
- If someone rejects you, you can reject the rejection.
- Rejection is a part of the human experience.
- We’re social creatures as human beings.
- If you know that 5% of people will buy from you, you’ll go after more people.
- Come from a place of empathy with a mission in mind.
- You’re going to find people who need your help.
- When you get rejected, they’re rejecting your service, not you. Don’t take it personally.
