- Do you believe that what you know or who you know is more important and why?
- Both are equally important.
- The what you know will never go anywhere unless you treat people with respect and help them.
- The people that you know can’t help them unless you know what you’re talking about.
- You’ve got to be good at what you do and find your own people.
- A time when a connection led to a moment of success:
- He asked a few connections to start a podcast together and now it employs 10 people.
- He was chosen to speak at different conferences due to his relationships.
- Why do you think that so many people don’t network?
- Because it’s hard.
- It’s not easy to think that you might do something because someone else helps you.
- Most people are lazy, they just want quick wins.
- We’re being sold quick wins by every book we see, and it’s rubbish.
- Advice for introverts
- Mark is an introvert.
- Everyone will support you, you’ve just got to be decent.
- No one gets different treatment from Mark, he gives the same level of high respect and friendship.
- You never know when someone or someone they know can be the exact person you’ve always needed.
